As an artist and craftsman the most important thing in my relationship to my own creation is the understanding that something lives its own life.

In my lack of understanding what this "something" is, I create what is missing.

My creations then relate to the world instead of my doing it.

If existence is to be regarded as a spectacle, I manufacture characters, scenery and props for this theatre.

Where language ends art takes over.
